While there are several funny or scary quotes from every Blumhouse horror movie, some lines stand out the most, and audiences are still talking about some of these quotes.

“By the way, I would have voted for Obama for a third term, if I could. Best President in my lifetime, hands down.”
Jordan Peele’s Nope opened with $44 million, which is impressive and no surprise for the horror fans who love the talented writer/director’s films. Peele’s 2017 debut Get Out is memorable for so many reasons: Daniel Kaluuya’s performance, the setting of the Sunken Place, and the many smart quotes. The film’s popularity has endured because the tone is terrifying but still manages to have a sense of humor, despite the important and upsetting subject matter.
When Kaluuya’s character Chris Washington meets his girlfriend Rose’s (Allison Williams) parents, her dad Dean (Bradley Whitford) says this quote about voting for Obama. This is one of the movie’s most unforgettable lines because it’s proof of the microaggressions that happen every day and the line is meant to make fun of white people voting for the Democrats.
“Whoever’s killing you knows it’s your birthday. Alright, look - give me a list of everybody who knows it’s your birthday and whoever’s trying to kill you.”
While there is the possibility of a Happy Death Day 3, the first movie from 2017 is fun and hilarious enough to watch over and over. As Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe) tries to solve her own murder, which keeps happening again and again, she meets Carter Davis (Israel Broussard). Tree and Carter have a great horror movie love story and Carter wants to help save Tree’s life.
Carter’s quote fits into the funny, light-hearted vibe of the entire movie. While he means well, he’s a bit naive and innocent, as of course Tree has no idea who the Babyface killer is. She’s not able to give him this list, no matter how good his intentions are.
“What kind of mother parties with high schoolers?”
Octavia’s Spencer’s character Sue Ann/Ma is an underrated female villain from a Blumhouse movie. She tells Maggie (Diana Silvers) that she and her friends can use the basement of her house as a partying location, and Maggie’s mom Erica (Juliette Lewis) eventually finds this out. The main characters are all sad, lonely and isolated for various reasons, but Sue Ann is hiding a terrible secret from when she was younger.
When Erica asks why Sue Ann is allowing teenagers to hang out at her house, she drives home the theme of the movie: that Sue Ann feels lost and different from other people because of the trauma that she experienced.
“He said that wherever I went, he would find me, walk right up to me, and I wouldn’t be able to see him.”
Cecilia Kass (Elizabeth Moss) leaves the abusive Adrian Griffin (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) in The Invisible Man, a Blumhouse movie blending science-fiction and horror. When she says this quote, it’s hard to imagine something scarier. Adrian is a brutal character as he creates an oppressive atmosphere in his and Cecilia’s home and when she escapes, he comes after her in the form of an invisible suit.
Cecilia knows that Adrian will never truly leave her alone, making him one of the most chilling horror villains, and making this one of the best Blumhouse horror movie quotes. Even though no one seems to think that Cecilia is on the right track, she remembers everything that her husband said to her and that allows her to solve the mystery.
“I always thought Michael Myers was flesh and blood, just like you and me, but a mortal man could not have survived what he’s lived through. The more he kills, the more he transcends into something else impossible to defeat. Fear. People are afraid. That is the true curse of Michael.”
In the second film in David Gordon Green’s Halloween trilogy, final girl Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) talks to her granddaughter Alyson Nelson (Andi Matichak) about classic horror villain Michael Myers. While fans of the popular franchise do know how terrifying and brutal Michael is, Laurie’s words are important and meaningful, as they sum up everything that she has been through for the past few decades.
One of the best and scariest quote from a Blumhouse horror movie, Laurie’s words speak to the power that Michael Myers still holds over her. No matter how strong fans think that Laurie is, she will always find it hard to imagine fighting Michael and winning, which is why the battle in Halloween Ends is likely to be epic.
